AUTHOR BIO: Laura Kooji is a writer, activist, educator, musician and beadworker. Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, she grew up in Caledonia and Hamilton next to Six Nations and New Credit reserves. Laura has worked in the urban Indigenous community in Hamilton as a Support Worker and Educator for the past ten years.
