AUTHOR BIO: Frank Thompson was a Canadian member of the staff of Bishop's College, Calcutta (now Kolkata) - the central seminary of the Church of India (Anglican) prior to the inauguration of the Church of North India - from 1962 to 1970. During the last two of these years he was Acting-Principal and Principal. Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at the University of Waterloo, Canada, Frank Thompson is the author of several books. He now lives in Nobel, Ontario, Canada.
