Between Two Souths: Growing up Black in Italy

The book explores race and identity in Italy through a fragmented narrative spanning five decades, from the 1970s to the present. Born in Naples to an Eritrean father and an Italian mother, the author grew up navigating a social environment where Blackness was constantly visible in perception but largely absent from public discourse.
