Nancy Townshend

Nancy Townshend has written about and curated Alberta art since 1974 and holds an MA in art history from the University of Toronto. She spent nearly ten years researching A History of Art in Alberta, 1905-1970, and also wrote Art Inspired by the Canadian Rockies, Purcell Mountains and Selkirk Mountains and a study of Maxwell Bates. She is an Alberta Centennial Medal recipient.
