Hayley Shephard

Hayley Shephard was born in New Zealand and lives on northern Vancouver Island. A naturalist and expedition guide, she has led wilderness trips from Antarctica to the High Arctic. South Solo tells of her attempt at the first solo sea-kayak circumnavigation of South Georgia, made to draw attention to albatrosses dying on commercial fishing longlines.
